1996 Trek 6500. I rode about 20 of the eastern trail Friday with my eight year old, and about seven of the Portland trail network Saturday with my four year old. I love my old hard tail.

Looking at getting something to ride for my old tired fat ass. Don’t want to spend $1k on a bicycle, but I cringe at what I see in Wal-Mart and Academy. Been looking at ordering a Motobecane with 27.5 tires and the Shimano Nexus 8-Speed internal hub at the rear for about $500. Maybe I’ll have a picture to share soon.

soma smoothie, all steel, 28c tires means pavement and county roads are both fast. just did 35mi today.
